Grownup money at an early age

Statistics show that children and teenagers are among the biggest consumers in our society today. This, as you know, requires a lot of pocket money that YOU – parents provide! How can you teach your child at an early age the value of money and the competitive advantage that comes with it? Many parents choose to send their children to work and learn through the hard lessons of an 8.00$ an hour job how valuable time and money really are. Others, simply give-in and hope that with age their children will become more aware and understanding of their spending limits. However, those of you who came to this web page are confident that there are other ways to challenge your children’s limited perspective on cash. You are the kind of parents that believe that instead of restraining youngsters from spending and forcing them to work hard for little pay, one needs to encourage them to become exceptionally good at something and be rewarded for it fairly, regardless of their age.

Here, at the Teens Computer School of Web Design, we want to help you and your children achieve just that. Did you know that your child could make as much as $100.000 on an annual basis with the right training in the right industry? Moreover, the best part is; all you need is a computer and some expert lessons and your teenager is ready to face the lucrative world of professional Web design. Just image saying: “my child recently designed the web page for the bakery around the corner”. The statement seems out of proportion, but the truth is, today the fewest businesses survive without the interactive global outlet known as the Internet. No matter if you own your own business or are a consumer, by now every one of us has been confronted with the visually entertaining Web pages on the screen. The great news is, with each and every day this network continues to grow and needs creative and innovative young mind to maintain and improve it!

Not convinced yet, simply log on to www.jobfuter.ca, and see for yourself the forecast on web design and it’s prosperous future. With an average pay of $ 23.60 per hour a current web designer is far better of that a typical worker in other disciplines who is expected to make an approximate $18.00 per hour. With an early start in this profession of Web design, the hourly amount will also increase with advanced years of experience. Hence, from a clean office job to complete independence, web design offers endless financial and personal growth possibilities.

Just looking at such names as Markus Frind from Vancouver, and his mega hit web site www.plentyoffish.com, which is bringing in close to $15.000 a day for the creator, you might just want to become a Web designer yourself! Another success story, not too far from here, comes from London, Ontario. The story is about a ten –year- old boy by the name of Keith Peiris, who became the youngest CEO in the world. He developed “Cyberteks Design” which is a virtual studio of web-design and Internet Commerce. Keith’s income in the year of 2000 was $ 110.000. Moreover, the former prime minister of Canada, Jean Chretien, took Keith on an international business trip as a representative of trade and foreign exchange.

We say, your child or teenager can be just as successful with the right training and support. Currently, we offer a newly created course for the ages between 13 and 17, with the focus on Web Design and Flash Animation. This course encompasses the creation of simple web sites, as well as the use of HTML and CSS. We further focus on the basics of animation and 3D design. The first part of the course is spread over eight month and covers the introduction and leads into the intermediate level of web design. After that, in the month of October of next year, the sequence continues and covers the advanced and super advanced levels of Web design and Flash.

Upon completion of both parts of this learning sequence, participants will be able to design complex web pages, including interactive layouts based on Flash animation. With these skills, your teenagers will surely not be selling ice cream or flipping burgers at the neighborhood bar during the next holiday season or summer break. Instead, your child will be able to either assist at an established design company, or even complete independent assignments at home. In order to get your youngsters started, we provide the opportunity to get paid for extraordinary projects during the study period.

The only thing left to do is: get registered and get started! Do not delay your registration since space is limited and the selection for the Teens Computer School has already began. Information on our programs and other registration details can be found on our web site at www.newimagecollege.com, or simply call 416-665-7772.

Internet Superstars

Do you sometimes wish you had lived in the beginning of the twentieth century, when new inventions and discoveries seemed to pup up everywhere - for example, during the time of the industrial revolution or the gold rush? Just imagine being known for the invention of steam power, or for pioneering of one of the biggest gold mines in the world, such as the Porcupine mine in northern Ontario! Yet times have changed, natural resources appear more often in short supply and computers are replacing machinery. How can anyone today become an instant noble citizen and be forever remembered for his/her achievement?

The answer is simpler than you think: as long as there will be people, there will be opportunities and today most of them can be found on the Internet! Just like a newly discovered goldmine, fresh internet-based ideas are sold for million and even billions of dollars, making the creators legendary people, known worldwide. In computer slang, these leaders are known as ‘Startups’, who launch their ideas often on a very tight budget, if any, and hope for the best. A good example of one of those ‘Startups’ is a group of university students who playfully developed an interactive site, known as YouTube and eventually sold it for 1,65 billion dollars to Google. As a matter of fact, Google too was started in a very similar way by two Stanford University students, who thought that a global search engine would be of great help with their homework. Today, Google spreads like a gigantic empire across the worldwide web and is used as one of the biggest search and marketing tools.

As you can see, giants are not born huge; they grow into emporiums and continue to expand by investing, yet again, into ‘Startups’ in order to endlessly flourish. The same success stories can be written about Apple, Pay Pal and Microsoft. The question is who will be next? Who will be the next prodigy featured in Forbes magazine to be forever remembered as the youngest CEO or the richest under-thirty year old? Maybe it is your child! Have you ever thought that the endless gaming and Internet searching may be a sign of genius? The trick is, to recognize this desire of playing on the computer as something special, maybe even a unique talent. Instead of worrying and trying to discourage your children from sitting in front of the PC, you, as apparent, should provide the right opportunity to develop this desire into something useful.

This opportunity can be found here at the Teens Computer School – a place where video games are created, web sites designed and cartoons animated. Give your child a chance of utilizing his/her interests to become great at something specific and make it into a brilliant career. What a gain! Not only will your teenagers be ahead of their time with the skills that we will teach, but they will also have the opportunity to love their future job. To get enrolled and start working on this fun and lucrative opportunity, visit our web site at www.newimagecollge.com and navigate the link Teens Computer School. There, you will find a great selection of currently and future offered courses for a variety of age groups. For example, Comic-Book Creation (age 7-10), Game Creation (age 10-17), 3D Design for Computer Games (age 13-17), and finally, Web Design and Flash Animation (age 13-17).

Teens Computer School takes your child’s progress very seriously, and thus we monitor every student’s development. Our professional staff continuously updates the parents on the advancement of their children and advises on further curriculum. For instance, we try to direct each student into a stream of courses that is best suited for him or her. In other words, if your child displays a natural ability in graphic design, we ultimately suggest this direction instead of gaming for instance. Our courses are also set up in sequential order, so children can gradually build their knowledge and stack their skills. Last, though the courses are dense in information, the content is easily absorbed in our fun-loving environment. The only thing left to do is, give your child the chance to become part of this great journey of development and growth; get registered and get started - who knows, maybe your kid will be the next big Internet Superstar!

Computer Gaming as a career - why not?

Who did you want to be as a child when you grow up? What where your dreams and ambitions? Surely many of us wanted to become musicians, cosmonauts, firefighters and artists, yet many more of us gave on those dreams up. In particular, on the dream of being able to express oneself
colorfully and freely, hence every child loves to draw; Remember those days when anything served as a canvas - the walls, the sidewalk, textbooks and even your own body!
Unfortunately for my school, I found my isparation on the pages of my texbooks and used every piece of paper in them to express myself. You see, I wamted to become an Animator and this required a lot of paper-space for my practice. As a matter of fact, it is this space that enables any talent to flourish, and talanted we all are, the only question is in what.

It often happens today that you hear parents complain about the excessive time their children spend behind the computer screen instead of on the playground. Fearful thoughts cross the parent's mids about what will become of their computer-obsessed offspring if all they do is play video-games. The truth is, in today's computerized world of technology, those children might have a much better chance of becoming successful that those who rather play ball. This is not to say that physical activities are less important, but rather to rimed those concerned parents that familiarizing your children with the PC-Screen is of no-less importance that playing outside.

As such, instead of worrying and trying to get your child to leave the computer alone, you should help your child to develop the desire of playing those games into something very useful in the future. For example, here at the New Image College, we offer fun and interactive courses in our Teens Computer School Department that will do just that. Your child can engage in a variety of courses in the computer graphics area; as early as 7 - 10 years old we offer comic book creation, 10-17 year olds can get involved in the video game creation. 3D design, web design and flash animation can be taken between the ages of 13 and 17.

The truth is, the computer is the most popular item on today's kid's and teens list. The reason behind it is simple; this universal instrument allows the user to do about anything, including watching videos, listening to music, drawing pictures, communicating with friends, playing games and even programing the future. Moreover, all if this can be done simultaneously - how can anyone argue that computers are boring? Hence this is our motto: Computer classes are fun! Our experience shows that teens and children enjoy coming to our Teens Computer School. They don't like to miss classes and tend to make many new friends.

The general range of enrollment is between 7 and 17 yeas old. We offer classes in the most desired areas of expertiese in today's computer oriented career fields. This knowlege is not only usefull current information, but can now start to фccelerate your child's futer career. The possibilities are endless, including numerous opportunities in the field of computer and graphic design. You as a parent, however, have to make the right choice and we are here ot help you and your child to finde the right path, discover the talents and encourage development.

At this point you might be questioning the idea of more computer interaction than your child already has. This is a valuable question to us as well, and thus we believe that monitored interaction is the best way to utilize the time your child spends at a computer wisely while learning something. By getting your children excited about our programs, children tend to return to their home screens with different ambitions than to "shoot and race cars" or aimlessly surf the internet. They now have a purpouse and goal to work towards, which in other words, is controlled and concious interaction. In the end, the extra hour the children spend here, will result in less waisted time beind the screen at home.

In order to get a better feeling of what we offer, it is important to briefly describe some of our courses. One of our most desired and widely enjoyable courses is the "Comic Books Creator" course . This four month long journey encompasses basic computer functions, such as importing, exporting, image rendering and last animation. In the end of this course your child will be able to present a whole animation! The course is offered for the ages of 7 to 10 and best of all features the most beloved Japanese animation style "Manga", which your child will surely adore.

For the older crowd of children, ages 10-17, we offer the creation of computer gaming. The great news is this course leave out the tedious and boring component of programing and focuses on the fun and interactive part of character development in the virtual world. This includes special effects, and multi level animation. This and other courses for this age group lasts up to six month. For somewhat more mature children, starting with the age of 12 and up to the age of 18, we offer more complex courses including, 3D, Web design and Flash animation. Some of these course are suggested to be taken after the participation in simpler course. However, each child is different and we are open to exceptions.

The best part of enrollment in these courses is the early familiarization with the computer. This will allow your child not only to be computer literate, but also be ahead of their time and possibly enter the professional world of web design and its well-pained branches in the future. Regardless of the path your child chooses afterward, you can be reassured that any computerized learning that will happen afterwards in your child's educational carrier will come easy and thus allow to focus on other subjects and thus help to get ahead of any curriculum.
Whether your child had no experience or is extremely comfortable with the computer, our assesment will help determine the level of eduction that is best suited for your child's needs and excellareted learning.
